Pivotstar creates clothing inspired by the kick ass sport of women's roller derby. Alternative and athletic, sexy and tough, intelligent and all female; roller derby is inspiring and empowering for the women that play, watch or strive to be out on the track. Pivotstar captures this essence in it's clothing designs and aims to support the growing roller derby community both in the US and UK markets.
Pivot Star Story - How it all began
It all began when Luludemon looked at her closet full of roller derby clothes one day and realized that there was nothing in there that she wanted to wear. Everything was just “not quite right” or needed extra alterations to make them truly derbyfied. Fed up of having to make do with clothing created for other uses she decided that derby girls needed… no DESERVED ..clothing made for just them. Clothing that could stand up to the abuse that derby inflicts on the body, that worked with protective gear, that fitted REAL rollergirls and looked amazing at the same time.
